How Much Does it Cost to Offer Dental & Vision Coverage?
You can offer dental and vision plans voluntary, or you can have some employer contribution for them. They’re very affordable. So, if it’s $35 a month for a really good dental plan, most employees will opt to pay for that rather than having to worry about paying a thousand dollars throughout the year for a specific dental treatment or to pay for their vision.
Vision plans are very reasonable, usually between five and ten dollars for single coverage. And that will give you your eyeglasses once a year or every two years, lenses for sure every year, and contact lenses usually they have an allowance of around 120 to 150 dollars every year for for your contact lens allowance.
So, for that premium, those can be a really good deal, especially if you know you’re going to need new glasses or you’re going to need contacts.
