Medicare Part D Credible Coverage Notice

Hi, this is Connie Chiara with Corporate Benefit Partners. Let’s talk for just a minute about Employee Benefit Plan Compliance. Every year in September, employers are required to provide Medicare-eligible employees with a Medicare Part D Credible Coverage Notice. What exactly is a Medicare Part D Notice and why do we need to provide it to our employees?

Well, Medicare Open Enrollment happens every year from October 15th to December 7th. Medicare eligible employees have options to purchase Part D coverage for prescriptions with their Medicare plans. It’s important that your employees know how their group plan covers prescriptions so that they can make informed decisions.

If you have any questions about Medicare Part D notices or employee benefit plan compliance, call me. Let’s talk benefits.
