When you choose an insurance broker and you work with them throughout the year, you’re going to be in contact with them several times for all different kinds of reasons. Certainly during your open enrollment and your renewal time, you’re going to see that insurance broker several times and have several conversations.

But throughout the year, you should be meeting with and/or talking with that broker for any kind of issue that comes up in your group, just to keep the relationship fresh and going and make sure you maintain that trusted advisor status and you feel confident that everything’s being taken care of in your plan.
