Why Did You Start Corporate Benefit Partners?

I’ve been in the health insurance industry for 40 years now, and there’s one thing about health insurance, and that’s that the price goes up every single year. Right now, it costs over $8,400 a year for someone to just buy single coverage on average. Each year, employers deal with this difficult decision of what they can offer, how much they can pay for it, and employees then have to deal with difficult decisions too. I kind of feel like if I can give employers the information about exactly how the health insurance marketplace works, they can take that information and use it to negotiate the best possible price and terms for their plans. And hopefully over time, then more and more people will be able to stay in the health insurance system.
