Implementing a Wellness Program


There are a lot of different ways to deploy an employee wellness program. You could do something very simple. As far as maybe using the tools and the resources that your insurance carrier provides. Or you can take it all the way and put together a wellness team within your company. Plan competitive events like, you know, walking competitions. People wear their watches and they record their fitness and their exercise routines and people compete against each other and teams within the firm. I think one of the most valuable things it does is it improves your corporate culture. It lets your employees know that you care about them and you care about their health and their well-being, and you’re willing to invest some time, some money, and some resources into programs that ultimately, will help them live a healthier life and a happier life and be more productive employees.
